Fresh air and sunshine in the South Tyrolean alpine summer.
Mountains full of adventure. Authentic alpine idyll.
The Gitschberg Jochtal region is a kingdom of alpine pastures. It offers you mountains as far as the eye can see. To conquer and enjoy. There are 500 peaks here. And more than 30 alpine pastures. One of them even belongs to the Valsegg. Our alpine hut on the enchanting Malga Fane will take you back in time. To a summer before our time. To the world of our ancestors. One holiday is never enough to explore the vast diversity of summer in the Valles valley. And so it never just ends with a single summer holiday. Because next year, too, the many paths, tracks and trails need to be explored again. And the area around our chalet village can also be explored in the nicest possible way from the saddle of a bicycle. Our bike guide will be happy to show you the best trails. And if you want, you can follow Grandpa Seppl. Deep into the forest. Where shade and coolness refresh the spirit and where life continues to flow. In complete silence.
Summer fun full of water in the mountains.
If not now, when is the time for water fights and jumping headlong into the cool water? Our natural bathing lake becomes the watery heart of our holiday village in summer. Dive in and swim a length or two, settle down on the banks and take a look at the small, great wonders of nature. Gregor will show you how to catch the biggest fish. And if you want to take your mind on a journey, dip your feet into the Valles stream and let them float away. A summer like this also has its moments of quiet joy, as you will discover on the Kneipp path. Step for step takes you a little closer to nature.
Undiluted alpine bliss
It’s a world of its own up there. And it almost seems as though time in our hut on the Malga Fane has stood still. As guests of Valsegg, you can use our alpine hut exclusively. Delight in the pure happiness of simplicity and the wonderful tranquillity in the heart of the South Tyrolean mountains. Would you like to spend one or more nights on the Malga Fane? Get in touch – we’ll be happy to advise you.
