For stress-free slaughtering and refinement into the finest meat and sausage specialties, we rely entirely on the traditional craft of local butcher shops in the immediate vicinity (such as the renowned Pichler Butcher Shop in Rio di Pusteria / Mühlbach).

From our farm's barn through the local master butcher straight to your kettle grill—an honest, respectful cycle offering genuine "zero-kilometer meat" that impresses with unmatched tenderness and pure flavor.

• Veggy Box: Plant-based grilling pleasure at a high level, featuring creamy Tomino cheese that melts wonderfully on the grill, jacket potatoes with cream cheese, and crisp leaf salads with fresh herbs from our own farm garden.

In addition, we always serve homemade BBQ sauces, crispy garlic bread, and your choice of side dishes, such as sweet potato fries or seasoned potato wedges.

Does every chalet have a grill on the terrace as standard?

When you order one of our grill packages, we bring the Weber kettle grill together with the Grill Boxes directly to your chalet. It stays at your disposal for the entire evening.

 

How can we order the Grill Boxes at the Valsegg Chalet Village?

Ordering your desired Grill Box (Classic, Deluxe, Fisch, or Veggy) is very straightforward and can be done until 3:00 PM on the respective day directly at reception or via room service.

 

Can we also grill in the chalet on the restaurant's day off?

Yes, absolutely! Since Tuesday evening is the day off at our Eggile restaurant, we kindly ask that you submit your Grill Box order for Tuesday by 3:00 PM on Monday.

 

Where does the meat for the chalet BBQ come from?

We place the highest value on regionality and transparency. The beef comes from our own Hereford cattle breeding operation at the farm. For respectful slaughtering, professional butchering, and traditional sausage making, we work closely with qualified local butchers in the immediate surrounding area.
