Here's to a new one! A few January thoughts and our new chalet in Vals/South Tyrol

New year, new luck. New brooms sweep well. The beginning is half the battle. Shuffle the cards. Are these hackneyed phrases or true words? We think so: We don't have to reinvent the wheel in January, but a fresh start is sometimes a good thing.

We recently witnessed a remarkable discussion at the bar of our gourmet restaurant „Eggile“. The new year was barely a few days old and this was the occasion for a witty, verbal exchange between two of our guests: while guest 1 could hardly wait to awaken his new self in the new year and was bubbling over with a thirst for action, guest 2 saw things a little differently. He was of the opinion that the whole New Year fuss was unnecessary and that the good intentions were just empty talk anyway. His main argument: "New Year is a day like any other, January is just another month and all the New Year's resolutions will be water under the bridge by February at the latest". We silently thought to ourselves that this may well be true in many cases. Rationally speaking, the words were true. But down in the pit of our stomachs, a small spark of resistance suddenly sprouted, a mini burst of courage, so to speak. Just at that moment, Guest 1 replied: "What if it goes well? What if it works?"

Let's start with the good!

Exactly! Who says things can't just run like clockwork? Of course, you can hardly be disappointed if you don't expect anything. And while we're on the subject, let's not forget the phrasebook: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. This proverb may seem a little old-fashioned, but it does convey a positive attitude, doesn't it? Because we are down-to-earth nature lovers, full-blooded hosts and full-time dream fulfilers, we would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to (re)discover the joy of small and large ventures. Especially in times like these, we need to be courageous. Not blindly and toxically positive, but thoughtfully energetic. And because we want to be a good role model, we'll now tell you about our new field chalet. Not only have we turned our own vision into reality, but we are also sure that one or two of you guests have inspired us. Our new field chalet is truly unique, an exclusive hideaway. You can look forward to an unobstructed view of the Valler Valley, with a marvellous mountain panorama stretching out before you as soon as you wake up. You can also enjoy your meals in wonderful silence and with an unrivalled view of the forest, meadows and peaks. And just wait until you discover the view from the free-standing bathtub. And that's not all: as usual, a small private spa awaits you in the new "Wiese" chalet. For undisturbed moments of pure relaxation and bubbles full of happiness. And now: Have the courage!  Book your dream holiday spontaneously and cheerfully! We have an idea of where you could go...
